Sweet Corn Paratha Recipe

  • 2 cup wheat flour
  • 1 cup sweet corn (boiled)
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 5-6 nos of garlic
  • a small bunch of finely chopped coriander leaves
  • a pinch of turmeric powder
  • ½ tspn of cumin powder
  • 2 tspn ghee
  1. Boil the sweet corns for 10-15 minutes or pressure cook it for one to two whistles.
  2. Allow the sweet corn to cool and then grind the boiled sweet corn and garlic into a coarse paste without adding water.
  3. Take a mixing bowl and add 2 cups of wheat flour, sweet corn and garlic coarse paste, turmeric powder, coriander leaves, cumin powder and mix well. Now make a soft dough with the help of milk.
  4. Coat the dough with ghee and allow it to rest for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Once the dough is done prepare medium size balls and roll them out into a roti. Toss the balls in dry wheat flour to avoid sticking during the rolling process.
  6. Take the prepared rotis into hot tawa.
  7. Cook on both sides and add a generous amount of ghee on both the sides.
  8. Serve the sweet corn roti with curd.
