  • 2 cups ragi flour, sprouted or regular
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • ½ cup peanuts
  • ½ cup cashews
  • ½ cup almonds
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 6 green cardamoms
  • 2 cups of jaggery or palm sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Ghee
  1. Take a pan and heat 2 teaspoons of ghee and roast the ragi flour until you get a nice aroma of ragi. Allow this to cool.
  2. Dry roast peanuts, cashews, and almonds. Allow it to cool. Remove the skin of peanuts.
  3. Dry roast the sesame seeds and allow it to cool.
  4. Dry roast the desiccated coconut. You need to dry roast it in slow flame.
  5. Grind together peanuts, cashews, almonds, sesame seeds, coconut and cardamom into a fine powder.
  6. Finely grate the jaggery or palm sugar.Take a mixing bowl and mix together the grounded powder, grated jaggery, and roasted flour. You can also blend together the grated jaggery and roasted flour to get a proper mixing.
  7. Grease your palms well with ghee.
  8. Take a spoonful of the mixture and roll the balls. The rolling should be quickly done, else balls will not be firm, once mixture cools down.
  9. You can also moist your palms with milk or water, but this will reduce the shelf life.
  10. Enjoy!
