Mango Souffle Recipe: How To sneak in nutrition:

If you’re using all natural ingredients like veg gelatin, less sugar and fresh mango pulp you’re good! Avoid preserved mango pulp. If you do eat eggs, well that would have been a nice way to add more nutrients.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups of roughly chopped mangoes
  • 1 Cup of whipped cream
  • 2 teaspoon of icing sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of veg gelatin powder.
  • 4-5 mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon of finely chopped mixed dry fruit
  • 4-5 thin slices of mango

Preparation Method

The first step is to take a large bowl to whip the cream and icing sugar well. Make use of an electric beater to beat it till it turns thick. Blend the roughly chopped mangoes into a puree by using the blender. You can also beat the mango pulp using the electric beater for 1-2 minutes.

Take 1/2 cup of hot water in a bowl and mix the gelatin powder very well. Now, add this mixture to the mango puree and beat it using an electric beater for 2-3 minutes. Make sure the gelatin powder is well incorporated into the mango puree. Add the beaten whipped cream and fold it gently into the mango puree and gelatin mixture using a spatula. Don’t mix rigorously.

Take a glass bowl and pour equal quantities of the mixtures into the individual glass bowl and allow it to refrigerate for 2-4 hours or till the souffle is set perfectly. Once the souffle is set completely, gently de-mold it into a serving dish and garnish it with finely chopped dry fruits, mango slices, and fresh mint leaves. Enjoy!

You can also serve it with this homemade mango ice cream. Mango Souffle can become yummier when garnished with homemade Mango Jelly! Go wild and add a layer of Mango souffle to make Mango Falooda.
